What are pheromones and how do they work in Pure Instinct products?

Pheromones are chemicals released by animals and picked up by others of the same species. These pheromones can project anything from fear to sexual desire. Animals use an organ in the nose called the vomeronasal organ (VNO) to detect these pheromones. 

While humans do have the VNO, it’s not as adept in detecting pheromones. Pure Instinct products bring these pheromones to the front, so even the human nose can smell them. 

Pure Instinct products contain essential oils that react to your body’s chemistry, creating a scent unique to you.

How long does the scent of Pure Instinct pheromone perfume last?

Your Pure Instinct pheromone perfume usually lasts between 4 to 5 hours. How long the perfume stays depends a lot on your body heat, activities throughout the day, the weather, your skin tone, and the amount you apply. 

Is Pure Instinct safe for sensitive skin?

Pure Instinct products like the Crush Pheromone are all free of paraben, gluten, glycerin, and alcohol. As these are all products with the most probability of causing allergies, Pure Instinct items are gentle on your skin. 

But you could be allergic to specific ingredients like soybean oil used to make the product. So, do a patch test first.

Are Pure Instinct fragrances gender-neutral?

While all Pure Instinct fragrances can be used regardless of gender, they aren’t all gender-neutral by design. For example, they have a cologne for women with bergamot and lemon as the top notes. 

What ingredients are used in Pure Instinct pheromone products?

Pure Instinct pheromone products are made with mostly natural ingredients such as soybean oil, grape seed oil, Vitamin E, etc.
