Can a cock cage cause permanent damage?

If you are religious about cleaning your chastity cage and the device is properly fitted, there should be no permanent damage, let alone small-term damage. 

But, on the flip side, an ill-fitted device might get stuck on the penis. If you don’t remove it in time, it might cause damage to the genital tissue. To note, the effect isn’t permanent and is a mere possibility. There haven’t been any notable incidents to date.
